New Market Development

Analytica Partners was asked to help a client enter a new geographic territory. This got us thinking that perhaps finding and developing ANY attractive new market for clients might be worth offering. We have never looked back.

The most common new market requests we receive from clients include:

Asian and European firms are seeking access to North American markets. US market access is still the grand prize.

Typically, this involves plans to increase share by integrating newer digital distribution channels with legacy channels.

Agree on capabilities. Define and prioritize first-level adjacencies where existing strengths can be applied in new ways.

Develop proposals for how the organization serves brand new clients, or existing markets with brand new products, or both.

Expect the same thinking, frameworks, consulting process and communication style (written or verbal) as big firms costing $300-500K per month.

Expect hypothesis-driven problem solving. Unstructured problems like “what might be causing…” or “how do we improve…” require a starting point

Expect us to transfer our knowledge to your organization and not just to a select few. Socialization and education is part of the job.

Expect us to follow-up and check into progress and outcomes. We are not successful because we just delivered that “killer” final progress review that impressed.

Expect us to admit any mistakes… and to fix them. If we think we got something wrong (e.g. new information), we will tell you.

Expect undivided attention. Our name is not yet in lights, and we can’t just fly in for meetings. If we cannot give you the attention you deserve, we will decline the work.
